The strategic benefits of a dollar-based managed income AMETF
How it addresses certain challenges in a JSE-based portfolio.
In 2024, we expanded the access points to our established range of offshore funds by listing a suite of actively managed ETFs (AMETFs). This suite of AMETFs feed into our offshore UCITS funds, providing on-market investors with access to various strategies aimed at meeting specific investor objectives in international markets.
Our dollar-based managed income AMETF, Coronation Global Strategic USD Income Prescient Feeder, was the first of its kind on the JSE and offers unique advantages for investors seeking to optimise their JSE-based portfolios.
STRATEGIC BENEFITS OF DOLLAR-BASED MANAGED INCOME EXPOSURE
The Coronation Global Strategic USD Income Prescient Feeder AMETF delivers three core benefits:
- Easy access to US dollar exposure within your JSE portfolio
- Active management aimed at outperforming US dollar cash whilst protecting capital
- Global diversification across a broad spectrum of yielding asset classes
PROVEN TRACK RECORD
The strategy’s more than decade-long track record has delivered consistent results. Since inception in December 2011, Coronation Global Strategic USD Income has outperformed US dollar cash by 1.1%* (2.5% for the strategy vs 1.4% for USD cash).
A COMPREHENSIVE RANGE OF AMETF SOLUTIONS
If you are considering a strategic allocation to an AMETF in your share portfolio, we offer a range of funds as listed in the table below. All of these AMETFs are aimed at meeting a different investor need and managed by our experienced and fully integrated global investment team.
The feeder model of these AMETFs also enable them to immediately benefit from the scale economies and efficiencies of the more than $5bn asset base* already invested in their respective underlying master funds.
